You will create and edit basic Microsoft Office Excel 2010 worksheets and workbooks. Target Student: This course is designed for students who desire to gain the necessary skills to create, edit, format, and print basic Microsoft Office Excel 2010 worksheets.
Prerequisites: To be successful in this course, you should be familiar with using personal computers and you should have used the mouse and keyboard. You should be comfortable in the Windows environment and be able to use Windows to manage information on the computer. Specifically, you should be able to launch and close programs; navigate to information stored on the computer; and manage files and folders. To ensure your success, we recommend you first take one of Element K’s introductory Windows courses, such as either of the following, or have equivalent skills and knowledge:
- Windows XP Professional : Level 1
- Windows XP : Introduction

A completed Student Registration Form with payment information is required at the time of registration. Payment is due at the time of class, or if attendance is subject to a business PO#, payment is due 10 days from the date of the class.
CANCELLATION OF DESKTOP APPLICATION CLASSES
Students may cancel up to 5 business days before the class date. If a student has to cancel within 5 business days of the class date the student or company is responsible for payment in full. A substitute student will be accepted, or if the student would like to reschedule the class within 6 months’ time, the payment may be applied to the rescheduled class attendance.
CANCELLATION OF TECHNICAL CLASSES
Students may cancel up to 15 business days before the class date. If a student has to cancel within 15 business days of the class date the student or company is responsible for payment in full. A substitute student will be accepted.
