You will use Outlook to compose and send email, schedule appointments and meetings, manage contact information, schedule tasks, and create notes.
Target Student: This course is intended for people who have a basic understanding of Microsoft Windows and want to know how to use Outlook to manage their time and information. Prerequisites: : To be successful in this course, you should be familiar with using personal computers. You should be comfortable in the Windows environment and be able to use Windows to manage information. Specifically, you should be able to launch and close programs; navigate to information stored on a computer; and manage files and folders. To ensure your success, we recommend that you first take one of Element K’s introductory Windows courses, such as either of the following, or have equivalent skills and knowledge:
- Windows XP Professional: Level 1 or;
REGISTRATION INFORMATION
You must register by phone or via our web site in advance of the class date to attend our classes 7 days prior to your class start date. PAYMENT TERMS
A completed Student Registration Form with payment information is required at the time of registration. Payment is due at the time of class, or if attendance is subject to a business PO#, payment is due 10 days from the date of the class.
CANCELLATION OF DESKTOP APPLICATION CLASSES
Students may cancel up to 5 business days before the class date. If a student has to cancel within 5 business days of the class date the student or company is responsible for payment in full. A substitute student will be accepted, or if the student would like to reschedule the class within 6 months’ time, the payment may be applied to the rescheduled class attendance.
CANCELLATION OF TECHNICAL CLASSES
Students may cancel up to 15 business days before the class date. If a student has to cancel within 15 business days of the class date the student or company is responsible for payment in full. A substitute student will be accepted.
